What is Radiesse?
Radiesse is an injectable biostimulator made with calcium hydroxylapatite, often shortened to CaHA. Unlike a traditional hyaluronic acid filler that primarily adds volume, Radiesse provides structural support while encouraging your skin to produce more of its own collagen and elastin.
This means you may notice some improvement in support and definition following treatment, with skin firmness and quality continuing to develop gradually over time.
Radiesse can be used in different ways depending on the area being treated and the result you would like to achieve. Kelly will assess your skin, facial structure and existing volume before deciding whether Radiesse is the most suitable option for you.
What can Radiesse help with?
Radiesse may be suitable if you have noticed that your face is beginning to look less firm, defined or supported than it once did. It may help improve:
Radiesse will not be the right treatment for every type of volume loss or skin concern. In some cases, Kelly may recommend dermal fillers, Sculptra, Profhilo or a combination of treatments instead.
A consultation allows Kelly to look at what is actually causing the change you have noticed and recommend the most appropriate approach.
Our approach is calm, honest and personalised. Our team will always take time to assess your face, listen to your concerns and explain whether this treatment is right for you.

Our Beaconsfield clinic is convenient for clients visiting from surrounding areas including High Wycombe, Amersham, Gerrards Cross, Marlow, Chalfont St Peter, Chalfont St Giles, Hazlemere and wider Buckinghamshire. We also have select appointments in Holmer Green.
Radiesse treatment at Sculpt by Kelly Swann in Beaconsfield starts from £350. Appointments are scheduled for approximately 30 minutes. The amount of product and treatment plan required will be discussed during your consultation.
There is no fixed number of sessions that suits everyone. Some clients may be treated in one appointment, while others may benefit from a planned course or future maintenance treatment.
Kelly will recommend a treatment plan based on your skin quality, facial structure, treatment area and the degree of improvement you would like to achieve.
Radiesse results can last for up to two years, although this varies between individuals. The treatment provides initial support while stimulating collagen and elastin production, so improvements in firmness and skin quality can continue to develop over time.
Your age, skin condition, treatment area and lifestyle can all affect how long the result lasts.
Radiesse is technically an injectable dermal filler, but it works differently from the hyaluronic acid fillers commonly used for treatments such as lips and cheeks.
Radiesse contains calcium hydroxylapatite and acts as a biostimulator, providing support while encouraging collagen and elastin production. Traditional dermal fillers are usually selected when the main aim is to restore volume, improve facial proportions or enhance a specific feature.
Kelly will explain which option is most appropriate for your concern during your consultation.
You may experience temporary redness, swelling, tenderness, itching or bruising around the injection sites. These effects are usually short-lived, although recovery varies from person to person.
Kelly will explain the possible side effects, aftercare and any activities you should temporarily avoid before you decide whether to proceed. As with any injectable treatment, Radiesse carries risks and will only be recommended following an appropriate consultation.
