Nasolabial Folds Filler in Beaconsfield

£200 PER ML

Nasolabial folds filler treatment in Beaconsfield, designed to soften deeper lines running from the sides of the nose towards the corners of the mouth.

Nasolabial folds are a natural part of the face, but they can become more noticeable as facial volume, collagen and structural support change over time. At Sculpt by Kelly Swann, the aim is not to remove every line or change your expression. Treatment is carefully planned to soften heavier folds while keeping your face looking natural and balanced.

Appointments are available at our Beaconsfield clinic, with selected availability in Holmer Green, near High Wycombe.

What causes nasolabial folds to become deeper?

Nasolabial folds are a normal part of facial anatomy, but several changes can make them appear more pronounced. These can include:

Reduced collagen and elastin

Loss of facial volume

Changes within the cheek fat pads

Reduced structural support through the mid-face

Gradual tissue descent

Repeated facial movement

Genetics and natural facial structure

Changes in skin thickness and elasticity

Sun exposure and lifestyle factors

The natural ageing process

• A NOTE FORM KELLY

Sometimes you may think you need nasolabial folds filled but the deepening here may actually be caused by something else, so I'll always assess the cheeks and surrounding areas before recommending where filler should be placed. If you book nasolabial folds and this needs to change on the day, that's no problem at all.

What can nasolabial fold filler help improve?

Nasolabial fold filler is one of the popular treatments from our dermal filler treatment list, particularly amongst our clients over 40. Where treatment is suitable, nasolabial fold filler may help to:

Soften deeper nose-to-mouth creases

Reduce shadows beside the nose and mouth

Create a smoother transition between the cheek and upper lip

Restore subtle support around the central face

Improve the appearance of lines visible when the face is resting

Create a fresher and less tired-looking appearance

Improve balance between the mid and lower face

Complement cheek or wider facial filler treatment

Reduce the severity of mild-to-moderate facial folds

Restore volume where the area has started to appear sunken

Filler is more likely to soften the fold than remove it completely. Deeper folds caused by significant volume loss or tissue descent may require support across more than one area. Adding too much filler directly into the crease could make the central face appear heavy or puffy.

What happens at your nasolabial folds treatment appointment?

Your appointment begins with a detailed consultation to assess your nose-to-mouth folds, cheeks, facial volume and the wider structure of your mid and lower face.

We'll observe the folds while your face is resting and moving before explaining whether treatment should focus directly on the crease, restore support elsewhere or combine several carefully selected areas.

Nasolabial fold filler at a glance

Nasolabial fold filler appointments take approximately 30 minutes, including consultation and aftercare guidance

Minimal downtime, but swelling, tenderness, redness and bruising may occur

Nasolabial fold line filler is temporary, lasting approximately 6–18 months, depending on unique anatomy of the patient

What are nasolabial folds?

Nasolabial folds are the creases that run from the sides of the nose towards the corners of the mouth. They are a normal part of facial anatomy and become more visible when you smile. The folds may deepen over time because of changes in facial volume, tissue support and skin elasticity.

Are nasolabial folds the same as smile lines?

They are often called smile lines because they become more noticeable when smiling. However, the term can also be used more broadly to describe other lines around the mouth. Nasolabial folds specifically extend from the sides of the nose towards the mouth.

Are nasolabial folds the same as marionette lines?

No. Nasolabial folds run from the nose to the mouth. Marionette lines begin at the mouth corners and run downwards towards the chin. The two areas may appear together but require different assessment and product placement.

Will filler completely remove my nose-to-mouth lines?

Complete removal cannot be guaranteed and is not always desirable. Nasolabial folds are part of normal facial movement. The aim is to soften folds that have become deeper or more noticeable rather than eliminate every natural crease. Trying to remove a very deep fold with too much filler could leave the area looking heavy.

Do I need filler directly in the nasolabial folds?

Not always. Where reduced cheek support is contributing to the fold, treating the cheeks or mid-face may create a more balanced result. Some clients benefit from a combination of cheek support and a smaller amount of direct fold treatment.

Can cheek filler improve nasolabial folds?

Cheek filler may help where mid-face volume loss is contributing to the depth of the folds. Restoring appropriate support through the cheek can sometimes soften the tissue sitting above the nasolabial fold. However, this will depend on your anatomy and the severity of the crease.

How much filler will I need?

There is no standard amount suitable for every client. The quantity required depends on the depth of the folds, the support provided by the cheeks, your facial anatomy and whether other areas need to be treated. We'll recommend only the amount we consider appropriate after reviewing your concerns and facial structure.

How many sessions will I need?

Most clients require one initial treatment session. The filler should then be allowed to settle before the result is assessed. Where the folds are deeper, Kelly may recommend a staged approach rather than placing too much product during one appointment.

Will I see the result straight away?

You will usually see an improvement immediately after treatment. However, temporary swelling can initially affect the appearance of the area. The final result should be assessed after the filler and surrounding tissue have settled.

How long does nasolabial fold filler last?

Nasolabial fold filler is temporary. How long it lasts depends on the product, amount used, treatment depth, facial movement, metabolism and individual response. Repeat treatment may be needed to maintain the result because many fillers are gradually absorbed by the body.
