Temple filler is designed to restore volume around hollow or sunken temples, helping create a smoother transition between the forehead, temples and cheeks. At Sculpt by Kelly Swann in Beaconsfield, temple filler is carefully planned around your facial structure. The aim is not to make the upper face look heavy or overfilled, but to replace appropriate volume and help the face look fresher, softer and more balanced.

Appointments are available at our Beaconsfield clinic, with selected availability in Holmer Green, near High Wycombe.

What is Temple Filler?

Temple filler involves placing a carefully selected dermal filler into areas where volume has been lost around the temples.

The temples can gradually become more hollow as part of the natural ageing process. Changes in facial fat, bone structure and collagen can all contribute to a more sunken appearance through the upper face.

Restoring appropriate volume can soften visible hollowing and create a more balanced transition between the forehead, temples and cheeks. Because the temple is an anatomically complex area, treatment should always follow a detailed facial assessment.

What can Temple Filler help with?

Temple filler may help if you have noticed:

  • Hollow or sunken-looking temples
  • Facial volume loss through the upper face
  • A more angular or tired-looking appearance
  • A visible dip between the forehead and cheeks
  • Changes in facial balance caused by ageing or weight loss
  • Reduced support around the outer brow and upper cheek

Temple hollowing does not always need to be treated in isolation. We may also assess your cheeks, brows and overall facial proportions before recommending treatment.

Depending on the cause and degree of volume loss, we may recommend temple filler alongside cheek filler or as part of a wider dermal filler treatment plan.

Common questions about this treatment

How much does temple filler cost in Beaconsfield?

Temple filler at Sculpt by Kelly Swann costs from £250. Your appointment is scheduled for approximately 30 minutes.

We will assess the degree of temple hollowing and explain how much product may be required before treatment.

Will temple filler make my face look wider?

Temple filler should not make the face look noticeably wider when it is placed carefully and in an appropriate amount.

The aim is to restore volume that has been lost and create a smoother transition through the upper face, rather than dramatically changing your facial shape.

How long does temple filler last?

The longevity of temple filler varies depending on the product used, the amount placed and how your body responds to treatment.

Results commonly last for several months or longer, but we will give you more specific guidance based on your individual treatment plan.

Is temple filler suitable for everyone?

No. Temple filler may not be suitable for everyone, and hollowing around the temples can have different causes.

We will review your medical history, facial anatomy, previous treatments and desired result before deciding whether treatment is appropriate.

Is there downtime?

You may experience some temporary swelling, redness, tenderness or bruising around the treatment area.

We will explain the risks and provide aftercare guidance before treatment. You should allow time for any swelling to settle before judging the final result.
